Ican Models & Talent is the brainchild of Tracy Cameron (nee Neave) who founded the agency in Queenstown, 2000.
Prior to Queenstown, Tracy worked over ten years for Margaret Farry-Williams at Vanity Walk, Dunedin. Starting at the age of 17 years, during her last year at St Hildas Collegiate, Tracy completed the Modelling Course there, winning Model of the Year. From there, her future thrived as she started modelling and tutoring at Vanity Walk. In 1988 Tracy was a finalist in the Wella Miss Universe New Zealand - the last live broadcasted show in Christchurch. After modelling in Sydney and Auckland and featuring in a Fashion Quarterly spread with Paula Ryan, Tracy returned to Dunedin after 4 years based in London to Co Direct with Margaret Farry-Williams the Vanity Walk Talent Agency. It was at this stage that Lord of the Rings and Vertical Limit were being filmed in Queenstown and Vanity Walk were supplying background extra's to supplement the resorts numbers. This was the catalyst for Tracy moving to Queenstown to start Ican.
Ican has gone from strength to strength ever since.
Tracy started by focusing on her Modelling School before branching out into a Modelling Agency. Ican are now able to supply a wide range of models, talent and background extra's for all media work in the film and fashion industry for National and International clients.
The Ican Modelling School offers a Catwalk & Confidence Course for Primary, Intermediate & High School Students. These courses are run in Central, Dunedin and Southland.
In 2012 Ican expanded into Dunedin - a well timed move with continuing Promotional Work, Fashion Shows, Stills and TVC's in the region.
Tracy is originally from Stewart Island. A magical upbringing with her twin sister, younger brother and extended family. Her parents still reside on the Island.
Tracy is based in Queenstown with husband Nick and children Neave and Scout.
With years of experience, Ican maintain an excellent reputation with continuing and new businesses by providing a high quality of service.
